The sight of Tommy Robinson emerging from prison 3 stone lighter in just two months should have shocked Britain.
The sight of a tortured political prisoner should have caused a firestorm of protest followed swiftly by the holding of those responsible to account.
Every single thing about Tommy's arrest, trial and imprisonment was illegal and/or wrong.
He was arrested for doing what thousands of journalists have been doing for decades.
His arrest was followed by trial and conviction within 5 hours which made it impossible to mount an effective defence.
Standard trial procedure was not followed and Tommy was not even informed of what he had done wrong.
He was imprisoned for an offence that has not seen a single person jailed in living memory.
He was jailed as a criminal when he had been convicted of a civil offence, so rather than being held in an open prison he was sent to a category C facility and denied privileges.
He was moved from a relatively safe prison to HMP Onley which has the highest proportion of Muslim prisoners in Britain. This put him in extreme danger.
Tommy was held in the punishment block in solitary confinement for 23 1/2 hours a day.
He was surrounded by enemies screaming threats 24 hours a day.
Tommy was unable to eat the food provided by the prison because of the credible threat of poisoning and consequently lost 3 stone in weight.
He had excrement and spittle regularly put through his window and the prison did nothing to prevent it.
And he was subjected to severe mental torture from the prison authorities.
Then when an emaciated Tommy emerged from prison and there could be no doubt in anybody's mind that he had suffered a terrible ordeal, not a single MSM journalist wrote about what had been done to an innocent man or what it meant:
Britain has political prisoners and tortures them.
This despite the fact that most of the above information comes not from the right-wing blogosphere. Most of the above comes from the summary of the appeal court judgment written by the Lord Chief Justice of Britain who presided over Tommy's appeal.
Just imagine what that means.
An innocent man reports on the trial of 29 members (Yes, really, 29) of a Muslim rape gang that no other journalist is even interested in enough to attend the court.
He is wrongly and illegally imprisoned by the authorities.
He is tortured and placed in extreme danger.
The world sees an emaciated prisoner emerge from just two months imprisonment.
The MSM universally libels Tommy Robinson with the 'far-right' lie and pretends that he got off on a technicality.
Just a few years ago this would have been inconceivable. All decent men and women in the media would have been outraged by the injustice, cruelty and corruption.
But like so much else, decency has been sacrificed on the altar of social justice and multiculturalism, so the reality of our pre-revolutionary country is that:
Britain has political prisoners and tortures them and the media covers it up.
