Tiny Minority

                                                                              Could they be clearer?

A tiny minority of Muslims have a warped understanding of their religion.

They stubbornly hold on to this delusion despite the Koran, the actions of Mohammad himself, and 1400 years of historical experience.

Yes, believe it or not, a tiny minority of Muslims believe Islam is a religion of peace.

To come to any other conclusion in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary would to borrow the words of David Cameron be, “an utter perversion of the truth”.

Moderate Muslims are in fact an endangered species. And like other endangered species the problem is one of limited habitat. It would appear the precise requirements of this very finicky life-form are only to be found on a couch in a television studio surrounded by multicultural liberals.

Fortunately for the moderate Muslim there is no immediate threat to this habitat. Multiculturalists, who desperately need his verbal confirmation of their world view with all the craving of a junkie for the next fix, will go to any lengths to protect it. So with legions of liberals patrolling the TV studios heavily armed with accusations such as “Islamophobe” and “racist” against poachers threatening to snare moderate Muslims with tough questions we can all rest easy in the knowledge that they will continue to thrive albeit within the very narrow confines of their range.

Sadly for all those who are planning to reintroduce the moderate Muslim into the wild, so to speak, there are some disturbing indications that he is not quite what he seems.

In a recent Muslim Peace Conference in Norway (see above) a speaker asked the audience how many of them were radical Muslims and was relieved to find that none of them were. He then asked them if they were “normal” Sunni Muslims and once again there came back the response that they all were. After all they were attending a peace conference!

So far so reassuring. Then he made his point.

“How many of you agree that the punishments described in the Koran and the Sunna whether it is stoning for adultery whatever it is [death to homosexuals and apostates] …should apply in the world? Who agrees with that?”

Everybody in the audience raises his hand.

“Allahu Akbar”

Later on the speaker rhetorically asked:

“So what’s the politicians [sic] gonna say now? That we’re all extremists? We’re all radicals? We need to deport all of us [sic] from this country?

Good questions.
