Muslim Terrorism Is Different

In the wake of yet another terrorist atrocity David Cameron pops up with the predictability of a jack-in-the-box to remind us that the perpetrators of the latest "sickening and despicable act...don’t represent Islam or Muslims in Britain or anywhere else in the world.”

First things first. To get some idea of the scale of the slaughter going on, are you even sure which particular “sickening and despicable” atrocity he was talking about?

Was it the double suicide bombing in Peshawar, Pakistan that killed 78 Christians after a church service on Sunday last. Or maybe he’s talking about the 40 plus Nigerian students massacred in their college dorm on the same day. Or perhaps he’s referring to the 27 villagers murdered by marauding Islamists, again in Nigeria last Thursday. Or, unlikely but possibly, he was referring to the latest bestial activities of our Islamist allies in the FSA. Or could it have been the murder of around 70 hapless shoppers in the Kenyan Westgate mall.

And that was just some of the highpoints of the jihad this last week.

It was, of course, the Kenyan mall atrocity that provoked Cameron to assure us (again) that it had nothing to do with religion and categorically nothing to do with Islam.

If that is the case why doesn’t he leave it to the experts on Islam and Muslim leaders to explain how thousands of their co-religionists are mistaken in their belief that they are killing us for Allah?

Or maybe ordinary Muslims might like to demonstrate in frustrated despair at what terrorists are doing in the name of their beloved faith. After all they are not generally shy in taking to the streets in their foaming-at-the-mouth thousands over, for example, a cartoon of Mohammad or a maltreated Koran.

Clearly droplets of urine wafting onto a Koran are far more upsetting than the murder of thousands of innocents to the inevitable refrain of: “Allahu Akbar.”

As the brave Saudi, Abdul Rahman al-Rashed, said a few years ago :

“It is a fact that not all Muslims are terrorists. But it is equally certain, and exceptionally painful, that almost all terrorists are Muslim.”

It is a fact. But clearly it is not exceptionally painful to enough Muslims for the rest of us to notice.

Muslim Terrorism Is Different

And not only is it plainly true that most of the world’s terrorists are Muslim, Islamic terrorism is also quite different from the IRA, ETA, Red Brigades variety we used to know.

► The first difference is the sheer number of attacks. This is not immediately apparent to us in the West as the vast majority of victims are in the developing world and so are easily ignored by the main stream media. The BBC was censured and ridiculed last week for its inability to call the killers of innocents, including many children, “terrorists”. But far more culpable are the BBC’s crimes of omission. The murder of those 85 Christians in Peshawar, for example, among very many other cases was almost totally ignored.

To give some idea of the scale of suffering caused by Muslim terror groups the Religion of Peace website has recorded a far from comprehensive total of 21,659 deadly terror attacks since 9/11.

► Apart from the frequency of attacks, the thing that really distinguishes Muslim terror attacks is the number of victims they set out to kill. Whereas ETA or the IRA would plant one bomb and be satisfied with a couple of dead children and their mother, most Islamist attacks are characterized by the evident desire to kill as many as possible.

The Bali bombing of 2002 illustrates the point. A suicide bomber detonated a relatively small device in “Paddy’s Bar”. This, apart from the use of a suicide bomber,  would have been considered a “spectacular” by the IRA. But outside the bar a massive car bomb lay in wait for the survivors of the first blast and those who assisted them. Two hundred and two was the final butcher’s bill. But if you asked the terrorists if that was enough, they would no doubt have said that 300 would have been better.

The IRA and ETA committed terror attacks to achieve a political goal. For al Qaeda et al the political goal is often just an afterthought to the main business which is killing infidels. And as far as that goes: The more the merrier.

And that by the way is why giving in to Muslim terror demands will never buy you peace.

► One quaint quality of the IRA and ETA terrorists that I miss was their almost humane like tendency to give warnings. Needless to say pursuant of their aim to maximize death and suffering Islamists never give warnings.

And before any useful idiots refer me to the “internet chatter” that often precedes Muslim terror attacks I would like to point out that wannabe terrorist murderers salivating over a coming bloodbath of kaffir doesn’t constitute giving a warning.  

► Then there is the use of suicide bombers. Although Muslims are not the only terrorists to employ this innovation in evil it is true to say, to adapt Abdul Rahman al-Rashed, that it is a fact that while not all suicide bombers are Muslim, almost all of them are. This is a terror tactic that the Muslims have truly made their own.

► And last but definitely not least there is the Muslim terrorist’s delight in torturing their victims.

Once again our trusted but traitorous media almost never report this charming aspect of the modus operandi of al Qaeda.

You will no doubt have heard of the 330 victims (including 172 children) of Chechen Terrorists at Beslan. What you almost certainly won’t know about is their terrible suffering that made their subsequent murder almost a mercy killing. You can look it up in John Gidduck’s Terror at Beslan if you have a strong stomach. Suffice to say that what happened is what you would expect if a group of sadistic pedophiles had total control over a school for three days.

Or there is the torture of the victims of the Mumbai attack about which a doctor who examined their bodies said:

“Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks… It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I don’t want to go over the details, even in my head, again.”

And credible reports have also emerged of the dreadful torture of victims at the Kenyan mall. Did the media tell you about that? Why wouldn’t they?

Whenever time allows Muslim terrorists tend to indulge their sadism in this way.

Why Are Muslim Terrorists Different?

Because they are good Muslims.

Muslims who follow the example of the “model for all humanity,” Mohammad.

There are several gruesome passages in the “poetic” Koran which indicate how infidels should be tortured.

There are very many more in the traditions of the prophet (hadith). Several  of which has the man himself ordering the most despicable tortures and then observing or praying during his victims’ torment, just like emulative jihadis do today.

And there are many further examples in Ibn Ishaq”s Life of Mohammad, the earliest biography of the prophet written by an approving Muslim.

Another factor is the duality of Islamic morality. In short it is immoral for a Muslim to lie to, cheat, rape or kill another Muslim, but a religious duty to do those things to infidels.

It is the terrorists and jihadis who are the real Muslims and that is why other Muslims either admire them, or if they don’t, they find it very difficult to condemn their actions.

If Islam is the “Religion of Peace” it’s the same peace that the Roman historian Tacitus spoke of when he wrote:

“They make a desert and call it peace.”
