There was an amusing spat recently between Pamela Gellar and CAIR (The Council on American-Islamic Relations) about the meaning of the word “jihad”. CAIR has been pushing the line that jihad is all about personal struggle. With this in mind they ran a billboard campaign featuring smiling Muslims hugging and being otherwise tactile with infidels. Blazoned across each are slogans like, “My Jihad is to stay fit despite my busy schedule. What’s yours?” and “My jihad is to not judge people by their cover. What’s yours?”Here’s the hippy version.
Pamela Gellar took issue with CAIR’s attempt to detoxify the jihad brand and came up with a campaign of her own featuring variations on the theme below.
CAIR were somewhat upset to have their awareness building campaign sabotaged, and took up position on the high moral ground to fight back. Various clean shaven men and liberated sounding Muslim women took to the airwaves to do battle, specifically with Pamela herself and more generally with “Islamophobia”. This has rumbled on inconclusively for the last couple of months leaving the public, no doubt, as bewildered as ever by the meaning of jihad.
Until now, that is. The Boston bombers have clarified the issue. It turns out that whilst both definitions are valid, the blood and guts version takes precedence. Just as in considering Hitler’s global personality, his murderous war-making is rather more significant than his vegetarianism and concern for animal welfare. So in the case of the Boston brothers, their murder and maiming of innocents jihad outweighs their exemplary efforts in reaching out to the wider American community.
The Boston bombers’ sister doesn’t know what “got into” her “kind and loving” brothers. Indeed, CAIR must be relieved they didn’t run into them a few months ago when they were casting for their cuddly Muslims campaign. The boys would have been perfect. Here’s a great picture of the older one, the “fanatical one”, a boxer, being seamlessly integrated. It would have gone great with the slogan, “My Jihad is to build friendships across the aisle. What’s yours?” version.
And that goes double for the younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaey, 19. He not only talked the talk of a well integrated all-American-Muslim in the form of his inane Twitter chatter about innocuous pop culture. He also walked the walk of the “My Jihad” campaign in terms of his numerous non-Muslim friends, his winning a scholarship, and working as a lifeguard. As he put it himself: “I didn’t become a lifeguard just to chill… saving brings me joy”. Or perhaps as CAIR would have had it: “My Jihad is saving people. What’s yours?”
So all this begs an answer to their sister’s question: “What got into them?”
In a word, Islam.
One typically Muslim example of cognitive dissonance is the views of the younger brother on 9/11. On the one hand he posted to his buddies that:
“Idk [I don't know] why it's hard for many of you to accept that 9/11 was an inside job, I mean I guess f*** the facts y'all are some real #patriots #gethip.”
But with the great itself day approaching:
But with the great itself day approaching:
“September 10th baby, you know what tomorrow is. Party at my house!”
So which was it? A glorious Muslim victory, or an “inside job”?
You’d need a psychiatrist to work that one out. But if you don’t have one handy you might like to consider the following.
This is taken from one of the earliest biographical sources on Mohammad considered to be reliable by Muslim scholars.
The Apostle of Allah (Mohammad) imprisoned the Qurayza (inhabitants of a Jewish town) in Medina while trenches were dug in the market place. Then he sent for the men and had their heads struck off so they fell into the trenches. They were brought out in groups, and among them was Kab, the chief of the tribe. In number, they amounted to six or seven hundred, although some state it to have been eight or nine hundred. All were executed. One man turned to his people and said, “It matters not! By God’s will, the children of Israel were destined for this massacre!” Then he seated himself and his head was struck off.
Ibn Ishaq - The Life of Muhammad
This scene of mass slaughter seems familiar to anyone with a passing acquaintance with 20th century history. The waiting trench, groups of Jews driven to the edge of the pit, the squalid murder, and the mass grave of the murdered.
This was, however, no Nazi atrocity. It was committed, in person, by the founder of the world’s second largest religion, Islam,
Islam is aggressive and intolerant because the founder of Islam, the ideal Muslim role model, was aggressive and intolerant.
My Jihad is to expose Islam.
That is, of course, in the CAIR sense of the word.

Well said. Yeshua (Jesus) pointed out several times that Satan is the Destroyer, he who has come to murder, steal and destroy. Any ideology that has as its central agenda murder, theft and destruction is by definition Satanic or inspired by Satan, as indeed was Islam.
ReplyDeleteI as a Hindu believe that last phase of human beings, is KaliYuga, where a person will be born and destroy, whole human race and all starts from again. God takes the shape of gigantic fish saves the seed of life. may be we are running in that phase.
ReplyDeleteGreat article Pat. Liked it. My Jihad is to make people aware of the Modoggies and the things going on in Europe concerning Free Speech. Reporters over here has forgotten the I word trying to excuse these Bostom terrorists. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat article Pat.
ReplyDeleteBut how to get the suffocating politically correct MSM to simply say "The problem is Islam".
Rob B
Saying "all muslims are not terrorists" to someone who understands Islam is like saying "all people who love the U.S. Constitution are not in the U.S. military". Both statements are logical but convey nothing of signifcance. If all muslims were to obey all of the Islamic Holy Documents, the muslims would be "cooking the frog too fast". Cowards will not defeat Islam in the U.S.A. politically and legally before we endure a bloody civil war with the federal government, the UN and the jihadists on the same side. It is past time for the states to tell the federal government with a constitutional admendment that Islam is not a religion which is qualified for protection as such under the U.S. Constitution. Gun ownership will delay the loss of Constitutional Freedom but when it comes time to use a gun it will be too late to do what can be done today through political and legal means. Who will step forward? vin 5 ron et yohaa period con.
ReplyDeleteGreat article! Keep on with these exposures of a thoroughly bad religion!
